Did you ever see (or hear of) the animated children’s movie, “Fern Gully: the Last Rainforest” back in the 90’s? As you can guess from the title, it tried to send a not-too-subtle (prescient?) environmental warning without being preachy.

The Fern Gully movie cost $24 million to make and only took in $32 million at the box office, but — as with so many kids movies…
